👉 1.5 lbs beef chuck or sirloin, cut into bite-sized chunks

👉 2 tbsp olive oil

👉 1 large onion, thinly sliced

👉 2 tbsp butter

👉 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

👉 1 tsp garlic powder

👉 ½ cup beef broth

👉 Salt & pepper to taste


◾️✅️ For the Mashed Potatoes:

👉 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled & chopped

👉 4 tbsp butter

👉 ½ cup heavy cream (add more for extra creaminess)

👉 Salt & pepper to taste



➡️ Directions:

◾️✅️ 1. Caramelize the Onions:

👉 In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter and add sliced onions. Cook slowly, stirring often, for 20–25 minutes until golden and caramelized. Remove and set aside.


◾️✅️ 2. Sear the Beef:

👉 Turn heat to medium-high, add olive oil. Season beef with salt, pepper & garlic powder. Sear in batches until nicely browned.


◾️✅️ 3. Make It Saucy:

👉 Add all beef back to the skillet, pour in broth & Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 5–7 minutes until slightly reduced. Stir in caramelized onions. Keep warm.


◾️✅️ 4. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

👉 Boil potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes until tender. Drain, then mash with butter & cream until smooth and fluffy. Season to taste.
