
👉 Homemade Meatballs with Mushroom Cream Sauce
Juicy homemade meatballs simmered in a rich, creamy mushroom sauce – pure comfort food!
🔹 Ingredients
◾️ For the Meatballs:
➡️1 lb ground beef
➡️1/2 lb ground pork
➡️1/2 cup breadcrumbs
➡️1/4 cup grated Parmesan
➡️1/4 cup milk
➡️1 egg
➡️2 cloves garlic, minced
➡️1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
➡️1 tsp salt
➡️1/2 tsp black pepper
➡️2 tbsp olive oil
◾️ For the Mushroom Cream Sauce:
➡️2 tbsp butter
➡️8 oz cremini or white mushrooms, sliced
➡️2 cloves garlic, minced
➡️1/2 cup chicken broth
➡️1 cup heavy cream
➡️1/2 tsp dried thyme
➡️Salt & pepper, to taste
➡️Fresh parsley, for garnish
🔹 Directions
👉 Step 1 – Make the Meatballs
Mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, egg, garlic, parsley, salt & pepper until just combined. Shape into 1.5-inch meatballs.
👉 Step 2 – Cook the Meatballs
Heat olive oil, sear meatballs on all sides until browned (6–8 minutes). Remove & set aside.
👉 Step 3 – Prepare the Sauce
Melt butter in the same skillet. Add mushrooms, cook 5–7 minutes until golden. Stir in garlic, then deglaze with chicken broth. Add cream & thyme, simmer until thickened.
👉 Step 4 – Combine & Finish
Return meatballs to skillet, cover & simmer 10–12 minutes until cooked through. Garnish with parsley.
