Crockpot Loaded Steak & Potato Bake


👉Ingredients:


2 lbs boneless beef steak, cut into chunks


4 large russet potatoes, cubed


1 large onion, chopped


2 cups beef broth


2 tbsp olive oil


2 tsp garlic powder


1 tsp dried thyme


Salt & black pepper to taste


1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


½ cup sour cream


4 slices crispy bacon, crumbled


2 green onions, chopped


👉Instructions:

✅️1. Season the beef with garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

✅️2. Sear the beef in olive oil over medium-high heat until browned on all sides (about 3–4 minutes).

✅️3. Layer the beef, onions, and potatoes in your crockpot.

✅️4. Pour in the beef broth, cover, and cook:

Low: 6–7 hours

High: 3–4 hours

✅️5. Add cheese in the last 30 minutes of cooking.

✅️6. Finish by topping with crumbled bacon, green onions, and a dollop of sour cream when serving.

✅ Cut the potatoes evenly so they cook uniformly and don’t turn mushy.

✅ Use a mix of cheeses (like sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack) for extra flavor.
