Crispy Roasted Cauliflower




🌟 Crispy Roasted Cauliflower (Better Than Meat!)


🥦 Ingredients:


1 large head of cauliflower (cut into bite-size florets)


3 tablespoons olive oil


1 teaspoon garlic powder


1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)


½ teaspoon onion powder


½ teaspoon ground cumin (optional for depth)


½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)


¼ teaspoon black pepper


½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional but highly recommended for crispiness and flavor)


2 tablespoons cornstarch or flour (for extra crunch)

🔥 Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.



2. In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil. Toss to coat well.



3. In a small bowl, mix the spices: garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, cumin (if using), salt, pepper, and cornstarch.



4. Sprinkle the spice mix over the cauliflower. Toss again until evenly coated.



5. If using, add Parmesan cheese and give one final toss.



6. Spread cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet. Make sure the florets are not overcrowded (use 2 sheets if needed for better crispiness).



7. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

🧄 Optional Garlic Sauce (Dip):


Mix together:


2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or mayo


1 teaspoon lemon juice


1 small clove garlic, minced


Salt to taste

✅ Tips:


Want it spicier? Add a pinch of cayenne or chili flakes.


For extra crisp: finish under the broiler for 2-3 minutes (watch carefully!).


This dish is amazing as a snack, side, or even a meatless main—crispy, savory, and full of umami flavor!
