Cheesy Meatball Sub Casserole

👉Ingredients:

🔸️1 loaf of French bread, sliced

🔸️1 lb ground beef

🔸️1/2 cup breadcrumbs

🔸️1 egg

🔸️1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

🔸️2 cups marinara sauce

🔸️2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

🔸️1 tsp garlic powder

🔸️1 tsp Italian seasoning

🔸️1 tbsp olive oil

🔸️Fresh parsley, chopped

🔸️Salt and pepper to taste


👉Instructions:

✅️1. Make the Meatballs:

In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.


✅️2. Cook the Meatballs:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs for 6–8 minutes. Pour in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for 10 minutes.


✅️3. Assemble the Casserole:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lay the bread slices in a baking dish. Spoon the meatballs and sauce over the bread. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.


✅️4. Bake:

Bake for 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
