According to a study conducted by KS Rangasamy College of Arts & Science in India, administering a daily dose of gingerol, a compound found in ginger, to obese rats resulted in a reduction in their weight and blood sugar.

1 liter of water
1 piece of fresh ginger about 5 centimeters
1 squeezed lemon
2 tablespoons of honey

Pour the water into a pot and bring it to a boil
