Boston Cream Pie Poke Cake – Don’t LOSE this Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
4 cups cold milk
For the Chocolate Topping:
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon corn syrup (optional, for shine)
Instructions:
Prepare the Cake:
Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the package directions and bake as directed. Allow the cake to cool completely.
Make the Pudding:
While the cake is cooling, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl until thickened, about 2 minutes.
