IF YOU’VE NEVER PUT IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE, HERE’S WHY YOU SHOULD: UNEXPECTED RESULTS

Cut a lemon in half.
Apply a small amount of toothpaste to both halves.
Use the first half to scrub the glass of the washing machine (obló).
Rinse with warm water and dry with a microfibre cloth.

Place the second half of the lemon inside the washing machine drum.
Run an empty wash cycle (without clothes) at 60 degrees.
The lemon and toothpaste will clean the inside of the washing machine and eliminate bad odours.
Alternative:
Put baking soda in the detergent compartment to soften and perfume clothes without chemicals.
