Rich and Creamy Chicken Curry with Savory Mushrooms and Smoky Chicken Pieces 


👉Ingredients:

- 4 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

- 1 onion, chopped

- 4 strips of smoked chicken (or chicken sausage), chopped

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 2 tablespoons curry powder

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1 cup heavy cream


👉Instructions:

✅️1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the smoked chicken pieces and sauté them until they are crispy and golden brown, approximately 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.


✅️2. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Cook for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and mushrooms are soft.


✅️3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.


✅️4. Sprinkle the curry powder and paprika over the mushroom and onion mixture, stirring well to coat the vegetables evenly with the spices. Allow the spices to toast for 1-2 minutes, which will enhance their flavors.


✅️5. Return the crispy smoked chicken to the skillet and pour in the heavy cream. Stir to combine, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.


✅️6. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add salt and pepper to elevate the dish further.


✅️7. Serve the rich and creamy chicken curry hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired. It pairs wonderfully with rice or naan, making it a perfect meal for any occasion.
