🍝 One Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely diced
3 cups beef broth (or chicken broth)
2 cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter)
12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or shells work well)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
---
Instructions
1. Cook the Beef:
In a large deep skillet or pot, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
2. Make the Garlic Butter Base:
In the same pot, melt the butter.
Add garlic and onion, sauté 2–3 minutes until fragrant and softened.
3. Add Liquids & Pasta:
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Stir in Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then add pasta. Stir well so pasta is fully submerged.
4. Simmer:
Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
5. Finish with Cheese & Beef:
Stir the cooked ground beef back into the pot.
Add Parmesan cheese, mixing until creamy and smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.
6. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.
