🍌 Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting 🎂

Moist, fluffy, and topped with the dreamiest frosting ever — this cake is pure homemade comfort! 😍


🛒 Ingredients:

↪️For the Cake:


🍌 3 ripe bananas, mashed


🔸️2 cups all-purpose flour


🔸️1½ tsp baking powder


🔸️½ tsp baking soda


🔸️¼ tsp salt


🔸️½ cup unsalted butter, softened


🔸️1 cup granulated sugar


🔸️2 large eggs


🔸️1 tsp vanilla extract


🔸️½ cup buttermilk



↪️For the Cream Cheese Frosting:


🔸️8 oz cream cheese, softened


🔸️½ cup unsalted butter, softened


🔸️3 cups powdered sugar


🔸️1 tsp vanilla extract



👨‍🍳 Directions:


1️⃣ Prep the Oven & Pans:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 7-inch (18 cm) round cake pans.


2️⃣ Dry Ingredients:

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.


3️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugar:

In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, then mix in vanilla.


4️⃣ Combine the Batter:

Add the dry ingredients alternately with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour. Gently fold in the mashed bananas 🍌.


5️⃣ Bake the Cake:

Divide the batter evenly between the pans and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cakes cool completely.


🧁 Make the Frosting:

Beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until light and creamy.

◾️Once the cake layers are fully cooled, spread frosting between layers and over the top and sides. Chill slightly for clean slices — or dig in immediately!
