Instructions:
Mash the Potatoes: Once the potatoes are boiled and soft, mash them until smooth. Let them cool for a bit.
Season the Mashed Potatoes: Add salt, pepper, paprika, and any other seasonings you like. If you’re using cheese, add it now.
Form the Balls: Take a small amount of mashed potatoes and roll them into balls, about the size of a golf ball. If you want to stuff them with cheese or meat, create a little hollow in the center and add your filling before sealing the potato around it.
Coat the Balls: Dip each ball into flour, then the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Fry: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the potato balls in batches until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
Serve: Once cooked, drain the potato balls on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce (like ketchup, ranch, or a spicy mayo).
