1 box yellow cake mix
1 pack instant vanilla pudding mix
3 eggs
½ cup oil
1 cup water
1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted
Light brown sugar (enough to cover bottom of pan)
1 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt, square, or oblong pan with baking spray.
Pour melted butter into the pan and evenly sprinkle brown sugar over it. Arrange pecans on top.
In a bowl, mix cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, and water until smooth.
Pour batter over the pecan layer.
Bake for 35-45 minutes (bundt pan takes 45 minutes) until a toothpick comes out clean.
