Cook the ground beef: Heat sesame oil in a large skillet. Add ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
Sauté the vegetables: Add remaining sesame oil to the skillet. Sauté onion until softened. Add minced garlic and ginger paste, cooking for 1-2 minutes.

Add the cabbage and carrots: Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots. Cook until vegetables are tender and slightly wilted.

Combine and season: Return cooked ground beef to the skillet. Pour in soy sauce and stir to coat. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish and serve: Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot on its own or over rice or noodles.
