step by step procedure
To remove bad odors and limescale from the washing machine, it may be useful to regularly carry out a vacuum wash with citric acid.
Although this ingredient is not very well known and little used, it is presented as a more ecological alternative to vinegar with the same effectiveness.
Citric acid has, in fact, a powerful anti-limescale, descaling and descaling action and is therefore capable of thoroughly cleaning the washing machine.
To clean the washing machine with citric acid, simply dissolve 200 grams of this white powder in a bottle with a liter of water, preferably lukewarm and demineralized to avoid further limescale deposits.
Now shake the jar well to mix the ingredients and voila: it’s ready to use!
Then pour the resulting solution into the detergent tank of the washing machine and start the washing cycle at 90 degrees.
