You need these ingredients for ham and cheese croissants
Puff pastry – from the refrigerated section

Ham – cooked ham or smoked ham of your choice
Egg for brushing
Sesame seeds for sprinkling
You can find the exact quantities for my ham and cheese croissants a little further down.
If you want, you can prepare the ham and cheese croissants with cream cheese. This makes them even creamier. Instead of puff pastry, you can also use yeast dough or quark-oil dough. This is also very easy and quick to make.
Bake ham and cheese croissants yourself in 3 steps
Cut the puff pastry into triangles.
Cover the puff pastry triangles with cheese and ham. Roll the dough into croissants.
Brush the savory croissants with egg and bake them in the oven for 18 minutes.
The ham and cheese croissants taste good both warm and cold. They are also really great as mini croissants in small finger food form. I like to serve them like this for children’s birthdays or pack them in the lunch box every now and then.
