Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, sliced into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 12 oz (340g) smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Chopped chives or green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Roast the Potatoes:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the potatoes are golden and crispy.
