Butter Steak and Potato Foil Packets

1. Prepare the Potato Packets:
– Preheat your grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
– In a bowl, toss the sliced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
– Place the potatoes on a large piece of aluminum foil, add herbs if you want, and fold the foil into a packet.
2. Cook the Potatoes:
– Place the potato packets on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 25-30 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
3. Cook the Steak:
– While the potatoes are cooking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
– Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
– In the skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Once the garlic is fragrant, add the steaks.
– Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust to your desired doneness. You can add fresh herbs to the butter for extra flavor!
4. Serve:
– Once everything is done, serve the steak with the foil potato packets on the side.
