Ingredients
1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 8 pounds)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and position the oven rack in the lower third of the oven.
Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut-side down.
In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and Dijon mustard until smooth.
Spread the brown sugar mixture evenly over the entire surface of the ham.
Cover the pan loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the ham’s internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of baking to allow the glaze to caramelize.
Let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

For a little extra spice, you can add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to the brown sugar glaze. It’s a subtle change that adds a bit of zest to the sweet and savory mixture. If you have picky eaters, consider serving the ham with a side of mac and cheese or dinner rolls. For those who like a hint of smokiness, try adding a pinch of smoked paprika to the glaze mixture.
