1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
3. Spread a layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce. Top with more marinara sauce, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
4. Repeat the layering process until all the ravioli are used up, finishing with a generous layer of cheese.
5. Sprinkle the top with garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is blistered and lightly browned.
7. Let the lasagna rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired.
Variations & Tips
For those who like a meatier dish, you can add cooked ground meat, sausage, or even pepperoni between the layers of ravioli. Vegetarians might consider adding a layer of roasted vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, and mushrooms. To enhance the cheesy flavor, add a layer of ricotta mixed with an egg and some herbs to give it even more richness and flavor.
