14g Gelatin Powder
– 110ml (1/2 cup) Orange Juice
– 60g (1/4 cup) Sugar + Sugar for Coating
– 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
HOW TO MAKE THEM
1. In a small bowl, add the gelatin powder and water. Stir and let it bloom for 10 minutes until it absorbs the water and becomes a gel-like consistency.
2. In a saucepan over medium heat, add the orange juice, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil.
3. Once the juice mixture reaches a boil, add the bloomed gelatin. Stir continuously until the gelatin fully dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
4. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray or silicone mold. Let it sit at room temperature for about 2 hours or until fully firm.
5. Once set, remove the gummies from the mold. Roll each gummy in extra sugar for a classic chewy coating.
