Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350º F.
- Using a serrated bread knife, carefully cut out the center of the French loaf, ensuring the bottom remains intact to hold the dip.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder to the mixture and stir well.
- Fold in the grated cheddar cheese and diced ham until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf.
- Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 35 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven, garnish with diced green onions, and serve with the reserved bread pieces and crackers.
