Vinegar (1/2 cup) – Vinegar acts as a natural disinfectant and helps fight stains and unpleasant odors. It is safe for most fabrics, including carpets.
Warm water (1 liter) – Water will help dissolve the ingredients and drive them deep into the fibers of your carpet.
Sponge or soft brush – A tool that will allow you to evenly apply the solution to the carpet. Preparation:
Preparing the cleaning mixture: In a bowl or bucket, mix 1 liter of warm water with 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of laundry detergent. Stir the ingredients until the powder is completely dissolved.
Applying the solution to the carpet: Using a sponge or soft brush, apply the prepared solution to the dirty areas of the carpet. Gently massage it into the fibers, trying not to soak the material.
Washing the carpet: Leave the solution on the carpet for about 10-15 minutes to allow the ingredients to work on the stains and dirt. Then use a damp cloth or sponge to remove excess mixture.
Drying the carpet: Once you have finished cleaning, use a clean, dry cloth to soak up any remaining moisture. Let the rug dry in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight, which can burn the fibers.
