Full Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup warm milk
1 tablespoon sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:
Dissolve sugar in warm water and milk, then sprinkle yeast over the surface. Allow it to activate for about 10 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice and activated yeast mixture.
Gradually add the flour to the rice mixture, stirring until the dough begins to form.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
After rising, punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Transfer it to a greased loaf pan, cover again, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
