- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
