Pat ribs dry with a paper towel.

Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. To do this, carefully slide a sharp knife under the membrane. Using a paper towel pull the membrane off completely.

Cut rack of ribs in half to fit in your slow cooker.

Mix dry rub in a small bowl and season ribs on all sides with the rub.

Place one half of the ribs in your slow cooker (bone side down) and pour half of the barbecue sauce evenly on top. Top with remaining half rack of ribs and pour remaining sauce evenly on top.

Cook ribs on low heat for 6-8 hours or 3-4 hours on high heat.

Turn oven to broil.

Transfer ribs to a foil lined baking sheet. Baste ribs with sauce from the slow cooker.

Place ribs into the oven under the broiler for a couple minutes to lightly crisp up. Keep a close eye on them so they don’t burn!

Serve ribs with remaining sauce. Enjoy!
