Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut the loaf of bread in a criss-cross pattern, making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom.
In a bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, crumbled bacon, and ranch dressing.
Gently stuff the cheese and bacon mixture into the cuts of the bread, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the top of the bread.
Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top is golden and crispy.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture. If you have picky eaters, you can substitute the bacon with cooked chicken or omit it altogether for a vegetarian option. You can also experiment with different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or gouda, to change up the flavor profile.
