Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls

  1. Prepare the Workstation 🧑‍🍳
    • Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. This makes it easy to cool the Rice Krispie balls without sticking.
    • Set up all ingredients nearby for quick access!
  2. Melt the Marshmallows and Butter
    • In a large pot over low to medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add in the marshmallows, stirring continuously with a heat-safe spatula or spoon.
    • Keep stirring until the marshmallows are fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth and glossy.
  3. Add Peanut Butter (Optional) 🥜
    • For an extra flavor boost, stir in the peanut butter until it’s melted into the marshmallow mix. This adds a hint of saltiness and richness to balance the sweetness.
  4. Incorporate the Rice Krispies 🍚
