Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup pecans
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt butter and brown sugar in a pan; pour into a cake pan. Arrange pecans over the sugar mixture.
Beat together flour, sugar, milk, oil, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla.
Pour batter over pecans.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
