Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Vegetable oil or butter, for greasing the griddle
Instructions:
1. Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
2. Combine Wet Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until smooth and well combined.
3. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients.
- Gently stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix. A few lumps in the batter are okay.
